SLOW COMPUTER?
This morning my taskbar informed me there was a JAVA update available. Well, after going through the process, it informed me that it was not compatible with my laptop running XP, no service packs. (XP SP 1 kills this laptop.)

However, exploring the windows associated with this, I found and cleared a previously unknown Java Cache of appletts and BINGO! my computer has started running much faster! It has been getting slower and slower over the last months and recently getting almost pathetic, and now, BAMM! Running like it should!

Just thought I'd pass that on.
