Gawd I hate sanding; gawd, I love the results.


This year, I bought a couple of calendars. I hate hanging them by a center hole as the edges tend to droop and it just isn't a very good way to hang such a thing. Unable to find anything that fit my needs, I made a couple of Calendar Clips.

So, what's the deal with antenna toppers?

Nevertheless, I loved this new one from Walt Disney World of The Orange Bird. But I needed a way to display it. So tonight, I grabbed the top from a 1 gallon water jug, a 2" drywall screw and voila! I think I will keep an eye open for a small diameter straw to put around the screw...


PS: This morning I found an appropriate straw, and added it to the base as a cover for the screw.
