Had some visitors to my yard while I worked on my new well pump. Had the camera ready, though a bit of racing to the scene makes parts a bit jumpy. Nevertheless...

Yesterday, I had to fix a section of pipe that had a couple of split fittings. I took this shot to make a record of "before" and it was so bright, the shutter fired rapidly enough to turn the flow of water into drops. Pretty neat!
After repairing the pipe, I heard a familiar sound and went bird hunting. One of the better shots I have gotten of this one in two years of trying.

This has been a great year for sky here. This is from late afternoon today, St Patty's day... as they came out of the camera- this is NOT photo-shopped- it's real! And actually, not quite as dramatic as it was in reality. I love the sky here!
